Terms of Service

By using FACEIT Scout, you agree to these terms. The short version: use the service fairly, don't abuse it, and understand it's provided as-is.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FACEIT Scout ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
FACEIT Scout is a CS2 pre-match intelligence tool that aggregates publicly available match data from the FACEIT platform to provide win probability analysis, map statistics, and optional AI-powered strategy reports. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with FACEIT, Valve Corporation, or Steam.
Account and Access
- You must authenticate via Steam to use the Service
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Steam account
- One account per user; no shared or bot accounts
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for abuse
Permitted Use
You may use FACEIT Scout to:
- Analyze match history for players in your FACEIT lobbies
- Generate and share scan reports with your team
- Use the Chrome extension on faceit.com for personal match preparation
- Prepare for upcoming team matches using the Team Prep feature
- Track players on your watchlist (Coach tier)
- Share referral links to invite friends to the Service
You may not:
- Automate, scrape, or bulk-query the Service beyond normal usage
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or scan quotas
- Abuse the referral system (e.g., creating fake accounts to earn rewards)
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its data
- Use the Service to harass, dox, or target specific players outside of normal competitive analysis
Referral Program
- Each user receives a unique referral link
- When a referred user completes their first scan, both the referrer and the new user receive 1 day of Pro access
- Referral rewards are capped at 7 days per week per referrer
- Pro days earned via referral stack with existing subscriptions
- We reserve the right to revoke referral rewards earned through abuse or fraud
Subscriptions and Billing
- Pro ($2.99/mo) and Coach (coming soon) plans are billed monthly via Stripe
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
- You can cancel at any time via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the billing period
- Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers
Refund Policy
FACEIT Scout provides access to a digital service. Because access to the service begins immediately upon subscription and cannot be returned, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law.
Exceptions may be considered at our sole discretion in cases of:
- Duplicate charges or billing errors by Stripe
- Extended service outages (greater than 72 hours) within the billing period
To request a refund exception, contact us within 7 days of the charge. We will respond within 5 business days. EU and UK consumers retain statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
Data and Third-Party APIs
The Service fetches match data from the FACEIT API, Steam API, and Leetify API. This data is publicly available through those platforms' APIs and is subject to their respective terms of service. FACEIT Scout makes no claims of ownership over this data.
AI-generated reports are produced using Anthropic's Claude API. AI analysis is provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate. Do not rely solely on AI output for competitive decisions.
Availability and Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Continuous, uninterrupted availability
- Accuracy of data fetched from third-party APIs
- Accuracy or usefulness of AI-generated analysis
- That using the Service will improve your competitive results
Downtime may occur due to server maintenance, API rate limits, or third-party service outages.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FACEIT Scout and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated date above.
